US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad said in a statement that he condemned the recent wave of violence in Afghanistan.
Zalmai Khalilzad said that he also condemned those who carried out terrorist attacks in Afghanistan and those who allowed it.
He said the perpetrators of terrorist attacks in Afghanistan were aimed at undermining the commitment to end violence.
He also said that those who use violence in Afghanistan want to spread dissent about a prosperous Afghanistan.
Zalmai Khalilzad called on all parties in Afghanistan to reduce violence and call for an immediate ceasefire.
He added that the Afghan people want peace and prosperity. so the Afghan government and the Taliban should respect the demands of the people.
