Pedigree Texel ram lamb Double Diamond was sold at the Scottish National Texel Sale in Lanark.
The lamb was sold by Charlie Boden and family in auction on Thursday.
The sheep was bought by a three-way partnership between three farmers.
One of the buyer of sheep said “If you want the best you have to try and buy the best”. He further said that he has never seen such a beautiful sheep in his whole life.
