TLP has once again called a sit-in in the provincial capital Lahore.
This time, the party’s Central Majlis-e-Shura said the reason for the protest was non-compliance with the agreement reached by the government last year and gave a two-day ultimatum to the government to ensure compliance with the agreement.
On the other hand, the protestor is demanding the deportation French ambassador and the release of TLP head Saad Rizvi.

The Tehreek-e-Libek party has warned that “if the agreement is not implemented, the next course of action will be announced on October 21 (tomorrow) at 5 pm.”

The movement’s protests in April were called off after the National Assembly of Pakistan decided to form a special committee to discuss the deportation of the French ambassador at the request of the banned religious party Tehreek-e-Libek Pakistan.

However, questions are also being raised about the sit-in and whether it is in line with the agreement or the release of behind-the-scenes party leader Saad Rizvi.
