Turkey is all set to extend its search for oil and Gas in disputed part of eastern Mediterranean Sea. The Turkish navy said the drill ship Yavuz will explore the southwestern coast of the island from 18 August to September 15.
EU has warned Ankara to stop its search but the Turkish official made it crystal clear that they will continue their search because they have right to search oil and gas in Mediterranean Sea.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara was ready for dialogue but insisted: “We will not back down in the face of sanctions and threats.”
