Tuition-Free Ph.D. Program Launched at University of Engineering and Technology Lahore.
In this regard, the Vice-Chancellor of the University Mansoor Sarwar said that UET has become the first university to come up with an excellent plan for 27 programs.
Vice-Chancellor Mansoor Sarwar said that all resources would be utilized for the promotion of higher education and research culture while semester fees would not be charged from full-time students in the Ph.D. program.
He said that in return for the fee waiver, students would be required to work at least 6 hours a week, adding that students would not only produce research papers but also benefit the industry.
The Vice-Chancellor also said that enrollment in Ph.D. programs at the university has started and aspiring students will be able to get prospectuses by August 2, 2021.
He added that the tests would be conducted between August 9 and 12, while the successful candidates would be interviewed on August 16 to 24 and classes would begin on September 13.
