Ukraine e-Visa Relaunch: Key Details
First introduced on April 4, 2018, Ukraine’s e-visa system was suspended in 2022 due to the ongoing conflict with Russia. Now, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has announced its resumption for citizens of 45 eligible countries starting February 17, 2025.

How to Apply for a Ukraine e-Visa
The application process for a Ukraine e-Visa is entirely online and involves the following steps:
- Register – Create an account on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs e-Visa portal.
- Complete the Application – Fill out the online visa form accurately.
- Upload Required Documents, including:
- A valid passport
- A recent passport-sized photo
- Health insurance covering at least €30,000
- Proof of sufficient funds for the trip
- A document confirming the purpose of the visit (e.g., hotel booking, invitation letter)
- Pay the Visa Fee:
- USD 20 for a single-entry visa
- USD 30 for a double-entry visa
- Expedited processing is available at double the standard fee
- Processing Time:
- Standard: 3 business days
- Expedited: 1 business day
