The California State Senate has passed Resolution, ACR 104, which establishes a sister-state relationship between the US State of California and the Punjab Province of Pakistan.
“A sister-state connection between California and Punjab, Pakistan, would encourage multidimensional engagement, including bilateral trade and commerce as well as educational, environmental, and cultural cooperation.
This mutually beneficial relationship would also elevate the similarities and commonalities between California and Punjab.” reads California state parliament press release.
