The American government while following the request of comedian Umer Sharif to Prime Minister Imran Khan has issued US visa to Umer Sharif and his family.
On his twitter handle, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Murtaza Wahab posted, “Even happier to inform that visa has been issued just now. Thank u to the team at US Consulate for the support extended”.
On the other hand SAPM on political communication Dr Shehbaz Gill on his twitter wall posted that the family of Umer Sharif has thanked Imran Khan for his cooperation in making the visa process easy.
Last week the Sindh government had sanctioned RS 40 million for the treatment of Umer Sharif and this amount was released under the “Sindh Relief Measures and Discretionary Grants,” a budgetary provision, given away by the chief minister’s directives during the current financial year.
It must be noted that veteran comedian Umer Sharif is suffering from cardiac issues since few weeks.
