The British airline announced on Thursday that Virgin Atlantic will operate direct flights to Pakistan from December 2020.
Direct flights will be flown from Heathrow Airport to both Islamabad and Lahore. In start the airline will operate direct flight to Islamabad airport from Manchester airport.
Booking of flights will start from the September the airline shared the news on tweeter.
Earlier this week, a team of experts from the British airline had visited Allama Iqbal International Airport to check the arrangements made by the airport management.
Previously the flights were suspended after the outbreak of Corona virus.
British Airlines had resumed flights to Pakistan in 2019, after an 11-year . The airline had suspended services to Pakistan in Sept 2008 in the wake of the Marriott Hotel bombing in Islamabad and other terrorist activities.
