US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad discussed the peace process in a meeting with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Afghan Reconciliation Council Chairman Abdullah Abdullah in Kabul.
After meeting with the Taliban in Qatar, Zalmai Khalilzad arrived in Kabul yesterday, where he met with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and National Reconciliation Council Chairman Abdullah Abdullah.
Zalmai Khalilzad discussed the peace process with the Afghan president.
On the occasion, Abdullah said that the peace process, new initiatives, latest political developments were discussed in the meeting with Zalmai Khalilzad, and the demand for speeding up the political solution and peace efforts was also reiterated.
