KARACHI: Leading Pakistani singer, musician, drummer, record producer, and video artist Farhad Humayun has passed away.
Confirming the news of Farhad Humayun’s death on his official Facebook page, it has been said that the singer is no longer with us. And his friends and acquaintances were requested to pray for his forgiveness. But the Facebook page did not say what caused his death.
It may be recalled that three years ago, in November 2018, singer Farhad Humayun had said in his Facebook post that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. He said at the time that the tumor had been removed by surgery, but that he was still receiving treatment.
Farhad Humayun formed a music group called “Overload” in 2003, which is one of the most popular music bands in the country. Although singer Farhad Humayun is famous for his music band “Overload”. But he began his artistic journey as an underground musician and formed two bands, “Queen” and “Mendroit”, in which he played drums.
