Soon after the announcement of retirement by M.S Dhoni from his international career, all-rounder Suresh Raina also pulled the curtain down.
Former all rounder paid tribute to Dhoni, and announced his retirement in the comment box,
He said: “It was nothing but lovely playing with you, MS Dhoni. With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you India.”

All rounder Suresh Raina was a left-handed middle order batsman and occasional off-spin bowler. He started his cricket career in 2005 and played his last match in July 2018.

He has also been the captain of Indian cricket team. At national level he remained the captain of Gujarat lion and vice captain of Chenai Super kings in Indian Premier League (IPL). He is the first Indian batsman in all three international cricket formats to reach a century

Suresh Raina was one of the successful all-rounder with 5615 runs in 226 ODIs , with 768 runs in 18 test matches and with 1605 runs in 78 T-20s.
