The Islamabad High Court has given a deadline of Monday to the Home Ministry to recover SECP spokesperson Sajid Gondal. In non-recovery, the Home Secretary, Chief Commissioner, and IG Islamabad have also been directed to appear. A kidnapping of a Security and Exchange Commission officer was also registered in Shehzad Town police station.
Former journalist Sajid Gondal, the SECP’s joint director, and a spokesman has been missing since Thursday evening.
According to police, Sajid Gondal’s official vehicle was found outside the Agricultural Research Center in the Shehzad Town area, with the doors open and the key in the ignition.
