On arrival at the Lahore High Court, journalists asked DG NAB Lahore Saleem Shehzad about the case of the opposition leader. He said that Shahbaz Sharif was allowed to order food and medicine from home.

The DG NAB told the media persons that Shahbaz Sharif was very happy with the detention of NAB. He also said that the case was being conducted on merit, and the case of Shahbaz Sharif would also be conducted on merit. Saleem Shehzad said that the NAB chairman has stringent orders regarding merit. He also said that NAB takes action if a complaint is lodged with NAB. No complaint has been received in NAB against any government official. DG Saleem Shehzad clarified that there was no truth in the allegations of NAB Niazi Nexus.
