US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad says the United States welcomes the continued positive engagement of Trika members.
This was stated in a statement issued by US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad.
He said that representatives of the United States, Russia, China, and Pakistan had met in Doha yesterday in connection with Afghanistan.
The Special Representative for Afghanistan also said that the meeting strongly agreed to step up efforts for an inter-Afghan political solution.
