Saudi authorities arrested the father on Wednesday after footage of his young daughter being beaten circulated on social media. A father ransacked his 5-year-old daughter’s home and filmed the beating before posting the video online. This was according to a spokesman for the police force in the area of Major Muhammad al-Ghamdi in Makkah.
In the heart-pounding video, which is 2 minutes and 19 seconds long, the girl can be seen lying on the floor on her stomach with a ladder on top of her.
