KARACHI: A ninth-grade student of Gulberg Private School fell down the stairs and died while she was having difficulty in breathing. According to sources, Areeba, a ninth-grade student at a private school in Gulberg, died. The school owner Asif Khan said that Areeba had fallen from the stairs, after which Areeba was rushed to the hospital where she died. She fell headlong from the third step of the stairs.

School owner Asif Khan said Areeba was in good health when she came to school, and the temperature was average, but the student was having difficulty breathing due to wearing a mask. Police have arrested the school owner and started the investigation.

According to SSP Central Arif Aslam Rao, the school owner has been summoned to the police station where a detailed statement will be recorded, and answers to all questions will be sought, but no answers will be given. If found, the police will take action while the police will also meet the girl’s parents.

On the other hand, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has taken notice of the incident. DG Private Schools said that Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani had directed an investigation into the incident. A full report regarding the deceased student will be submitted to the Education Minister soon.
