ISLAMABAD: Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Noor Khan has resigned and handed over the command to a new chief.
A change of command ceremony was held in the Pakistan Air Force. Air Chief Zaheer Ahmad Babar has taken over as the new Chief of Air Staff. JF-17 Thunder aircraft saluted outgoing Air Chief Mujahid Noor Khan.
Retired Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Noor Khan while addressing the function said that today I am handing over the command of Pakistan Air Force to the new Chief of Staff. It is an honor to serve in Pakistan Air Force for 40 years. National defense is invincible with cooperation. Despite Corona, we continued defense exercises. Pakistan Air Force is ready to face any challenge.
He further said that I congratulate Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sadhu on assuming the leadership of the Pakistan Air Force, I have confidence in his abilities and I would like to thank my staff for their cooperation in every field.
