Energy Powered train: the electric car, which travels half the world with the equivalent of one liter of petrol, has been named the world’s most efficient rail car. The X-Miss Four is powered by electricity and is environmentally friendly in every way.
The car can run on railway tracks, which is 687 MPGe. Which is the distance per gallon of petrol to be expressed in miles. Thus, 687 MPGe would be 0.34 liters per 100 kilometers in common parlance.
This amazing ride has been developed by scientists at Dalarna and Chamers University. Besides, the train carries an average weight of 50 kilograms and can carry six passengers and cover a distance of 3.36 kilometers on the tracks.
It uses the lightest aircraft material and the car has been tested in an air tunnel. Moreover, the efficiency of the aircraft is tested under the tunnel.
