Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Representative for Interfaith Harmony Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to order a speedy trial of all child abuse cases, including the Noor Muqaddam case.
He said that incidents of child abuse are rising across the country and to control this disease, we need emergency measures to stop child abuse.
Hafiz Tahir-ul-Ashrafi said that there are thousands of cases in the courts but immediate action is needed for these incidents.
He said that the Noor Muqaddam case has created fear and panic.
