According to sources, Ayesha Gul, a female police officer in Peshawar, has been appointed as AIG for the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police history.
Ayesha Gul has taken over as AIG Gender. She will focus on the rights of women, transgender people, and children. A help desk for gender issues has also been established at the Central Police Office in Peshawar.
