The Chief Justice of Pakistan termed the abuse incident on the motorway as shameful and advised the government to be vigilant.
Addressing the concluding ceremony of the 6-day Commercial and Overseas Courts Training Workshop at Punjab Judicial Academy, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed expressed concern over abuse on Lahore-Sialkot Motorway.
He said that the incident of rape of a woman on the motorway is shameful. The police have become politicized; an example of this is the rape of a woman on the motorway. The government needs to be vigilant, and the government should wake up in time to prevent such incidents.
The Chief Justice said that to ensure the best measures for the investors and business class, Pakistan’s economy is heavily dependent on investment, countries with the best judicial system, and investment. If you want to increase investment, and the best judicial system is a matter of time.
Justice Gulzar Ahmed said that it is not a big deal for problems to arise at different business affairs stages. Business matters come to the courts so that they can be resolved. Hanging business matters in the courts creates more problems.
