Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has affirmed the Rawalpindi Ring Road venture under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) program.
It was approved at a meeting of the Public-Private Partnership and Monitoring Board.
According to media reports, the project will be completed at a cost of Rs 50 billion.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar said that the supertask would take care of the traffic issues of Rawalpindi and lift monetary exercises in the region.
He directed the concerned authorities to minimize the processing time of PPP projects.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that the Punjab government is in Sheikhupura. Gujranwala road development work will start in the coming days.
