The federal minister of information and broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that both the Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff have reached a consensus over the appointment of new Director General (DG) ISI.
In a recent tweet, Fawad Chaudhry claimed that the process for the appointment of new DG-ISI has initiated after a joint consensus of PM Imran Khan and COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
He in his tweet further said that once against the civil-military leadership has once against proved that all the institutions of the country are on the same page for the dignity, sovereignty and development of the motherland.
It must be noted that many media reports have claimed that there was a rift between the civil-military over the appointment of new DG-ISI.
