Extensive deposits of high-quality nano-mud (clay) have been discovered from Mount Suleman, which is of international importance in geological terms in Pakistan. Thanks to them, on the one hand, it will help in obtaining clean water in the region, on the other hand, it will be possible to obtain an important industrial raw material.

Dr. Muhammad Usman Ghauri of the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom has played an important role in this regard. Dr. Usman holds a Doctorate from the University of Huddersfield after a Masters from Bahauddin Zakaria University, Multan, and is now a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Pharmacy at the same University.

In this regard, an extensive study was conducted by experts from several institutions, the details of which have been published in Nature Scientific Reports. The research involved several experiments to obtain an environmentally friendly and sustainable acquisition of Montmorelite, an important nano-mineral from Mount Solomon’s crude.

The good news is that the acquisition of Montrealite from raw materials not only meets all the required standards but also allows the treasury to be extracted on a commercial scale at a low cost, which can yield many economic benefits.
