Double-Decker Bus between Islamabad, Rawalpindi Makes Trials Run

In Rawalpindi and Islamabad a test trial of the double Decker bus service was conducted on the special orders of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar.
According to comprehensive details, a double-decker bus service test drive was launched on the occasion of Independence Day, celebrated yesterday across Pakistan by the Punjab Tourism Development Corporation and co-ordination of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA).

Asif Mehmood, MPA, Farah Agha, PHA officials, and others were on the occasion as adviser to CM Punjab on Horticulture & Tourism.
The CM Punjab Horticulture and Tourism advisor Asif Mehmood addressed the participants and stated that the double-decker bus service would begin next week twine cities.

The service aims at encouraging tourism; it also welcomes local and international visitors to experience the history and environment of the twin cities.

He said, adding construction work of the main terminal in Allama Iqbal Park Double Road entered the final phase. “The Tourist Development Corporation Punjab is to operate the coaches,” he said.

At the beginning, there will be two busses, which will help local residents, he added.

Tourist attractions in Islamabad include the Faisal Mosque, Marghrzar Zoo, Daman-e-Koh, Constitution Avenue, Lok Virsa, Pakistan Natural and Shakarparian Museums. The tourists visite various tourist attractions in Islamabad.
