Facility for registration of vehicles at showrooms in Islamabad.

The Islamabad Excise and Taxation Department has decided that vehicles will be registered at showrooms for citizens’ convenience and prevent thieves. There is no need to visit the excise office in Islamabad to register for a new car. The Excise and Taxation Department will do the registration at the showroom itself. Along with the citizens’ convenience, the way for fake registration of vehicles will also be closed forever.

Director Excise Bilal Azam said that no vehicle would leave the showroom without registration, eliminating all fraud and duplication cases. He added that if an attempt were made to register from another district, it would be marked on the system.
