Flooding caused by heavy rain fall has killed 6 people so far in Turkey and almost 10 peoples are missing.
Main roads are full will floods and cars and other vehicles are being swept away on the main roads.
The Turkish Minister for Agriculture and forestry said that “this is the first time I have seen such a natural disaster “ .
The interior minister Suleyman Soylu said : the rescue operations are continuously going and so far we have rescued 153 people from the flood. He said 98 vilages in the region were cut off and 38 were without electricity. 20 people are stranded in a wedding hall.
Two police officers also lost their live due to flood as their vehicle was swept away .
Across the province, 17 buildings were destroyed and more than 360 were damaged.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at an event in Istanbul, vowed to help those affected by the floods.
President said “As a state, we will quickly overcome the destruction and devastation here with God’s will”.
