Foreign direct investment in Pakistan reached a 10-month high of $317.4m

According to a report released by the State Bank of Pakistan yesterday, the volume of foreign direct investment in October last month was 317.4 million. While in October 2019, the volume of foreign investment was 126.5 million.

Most of the investments were made in the areas of power generation, 3G, 4G mobile internet, and oil and gas exploration.

During the first four months of the current financial year, the volume of FDI stood at 733.1 million. Whereas 672 million in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

In this regard, experts say that most countries investing in other countries are struggling with Covid 19. It will take more time to stabilize their economies.
