A female tourist guide was gang-raped in a hotel in the Indian capital. According to Indian media, the victim tourist guide said she was gang-raped at a five-star hotel at India Gate in New Delhi.
According to police, the victim identified six accused in the incident, including a woman, while the main accused was arrested on the victim’s identification. Police say the main accused was identified as Manoj Sharma, a resident of Delhi.
According to Indian media, the hotel room where the woman was raped was booked by two businessmen. The victim is working as a tourist guide and ticket booking executive in the hotel. The woman told the police that she needed some money, on which the accused called the woman and called her into the room under the pretext of giving her a loan in easy installments and then raped her. Police say further investigation into the case is underway, and raids are being carried out to capture more suspects.
