Four more independent candidates who won the Gilgit-Baltistan elections joined the PTI, with the PTI gaining a majority. According to details, newly elected independent candidates Wazir Saleem, Raja Nasir Ali, Abdul Hameed, and Mushtaq Hussain have formally joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The number of independent candidates joining PTI from Baltistan Division to four. The ruling party of the federation has also gained a majority in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Earlier, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari alleged that the PTI was going to every successful candidate in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections and saying, “You are the Chief Minister, just join.” He said that the Election Commissioner was trying to form a PTI government in Gilgit-Baltistan, but they could not decide who would be the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The Election Commission is the election wing of PTI. The Election Commissioner sold it to the people. You could not hold your office. They are going to every candidate and saying you are the Chief Minister. Just join once. They want to sit because this government will be there only till January.

Chairman PPP said that he was grateful to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan because the people of Gilgit-Baltistan supported him for the protection of the vote. PPP will protect women’s voting rights. Polling booths were stolen in GB 21, PPP workers protested against rigging in cold weather.
