Demands for the closure of Primary and Secondary schools have once again intensified not because of the fear of contracting Corona Virus but the scorching heat is unbearable for the little kids. Hundreds of Primary Level Students fainted today across the country, 25 in Pakistan’s Capital Pakistan because of the heatstroke amid the load shedding.

What’s the catch behind opening Primary level schools for the little kids in the midst of sweltering heat month June? When it has already been announced that primary students will be promoted without the exams. Under boiling temperature, Federal Minister for Education must have announced the closure of schools. Adjusting summer vacations with the classes been missed because of Corona Virus is deplorable and inhumane for the kids. Moreover, the resurgence of Load Shedding cases across the country added fuel to the fire.

A few months back, it was reported that Pakistan is generating electricity beyond their capacity, was a joke? Where the beyond capacity electricity has gone? Electricity outage, the opening of schools in the midst of June, and ineptitude of Education Ministry and the Government.
