Before the joint sitting of the Parliament, a meeting of the joint parliamentary party of government and coalition parties will be held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. There will be a consultation on a joint sitting of Parliament, and a strategy for passing bills related to the FATF will be worked out.
It may be recalled that the Prime Minister while vowing to pass the National Security and National Interest Bill in any case, was adamant for the passage of the FATF Act. During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan had criticized the opposition nexus and said that everyone had come together to save the theft, but we will not come to blackmail and not meet NRO’s demand, FAT. It is not in the national interest of the FPTI; those who obstruct the bill’s passage will be publicly exposed.
