An important session of the National Assembly is underway in which a resolution was tabled to expel the French ambassador from the country.

A meeting of the National Assembly is underway under the chairmanship of Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.

Member Assembly Amjad Ali Khan presented the resolution of the Holy Prophet in the House.

The text of the resolution says that the resolution to expel the French ambassador from the country should be discussed in the House.

Amjad Ali Khan also requested the formation of a special parliamentary committee on the issue.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan moved a motion to form a special parliamentary committee on the issue.

Maulana Asad Mahmood, a member of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) assembly, said that he did not even bother to convene an emergency meeting to take the opposition into confidence.

He said that you are not the Speaker of the Government but of the House. Mr. Speaker, your conduct is biased.

Former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the resolution should have been brought in consultation.

He said that you have presented a resolution, we will come after considering it, a committee consisting of the entire House should be formed on this issue.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that in one hour we will come up with a resolution, we will discuss whatever resolution we will give.
