On Sunday, the former India cricket team legend and the Utar Pradesh Cabinet minister Chetan Chauhan died due to corona virus at the age of 73. Chetan was infected from his driver in the start of July. He was getting better but suddenly on Friday night, he was put on a ventilator due to ill health, after which he died. Chetan Chauhan started his career in December, 1969. He was a right- handed batsman and right arm off-spinner. Chetan was a longtime opening partner of Sunil Gavaskar from 1973-1981. He was a tough opener with 2084 runs in 40 test matches and with 153 runs in 7 ODIs.
