Police have started an investigation into the incident of rape of a woman on Lahore Motorway. Investigative teams arrived at the scene to gather evidence, where investigation teams began inspecting the forest on the motorway.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Dr. Shahbaz Gill has claimed to have arrested 12 suspects from the area. In his tweet, he said that the CCPO led the Lahore investigation team and that urban-rural policing techniques were being used in the investigation. According to the family, before the robbers arrived, the woman called the motorway police, who were called for help as there was no petrol in the vehicle.
