Civil society protested in Islamabad against the incident of rape on Lahore Motorway. Outside the National Press Club, protestors demanded the arrest of the accused and severe punishment.
A demonstration was held in Islamabad to demand justice for the woman who was raped on the motorway. The protesters also strongly condemned the irresponsible statement of CCPO Lahore and said that instead of protecting women, depriving them of their freedom was tantamount to sprinkling salt on their wounds.
