The provincial government of khyber Pakhtunkhwa is all set to launch Safari train and bus service for promotion of tourism in Peshawar.
Chief minister of Peshawar Mehmood khan approved the safari Steam train project.
The safari train will run on two routes one from Peshawar to Attack and the other train will run from Peshawar to Takht-bhai area of district Mardan.
The khyber Pakhtunkhwa also decided to launch bus service for tourist visits and cable car project . Cable car project will cover fourteen kilometres route from upper dir and chitral to connect the scenic tourist resorts.
According to the KP tourism department, most of the tourists from across the country headed up to Abbottabad that witnessed 80,650 visitors during the last five days. Swat was the second most visited place by tourists during this period. Whereas Chitral received 800 tourists and Dir 364 tourists.
