The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to recruit 25,000 more teachers across the province for the evening classes in schools.
The Chief Minister KP in a recent statement said that evening shift classes would be started in schools soon for which 25,000 more teachers would be hired on merit. He said furniture would be provided to 95 percent schools during the next fiscal year.
Mahmood Khan said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be the first province to set up Livestock University and a food security policy would be introduced to meet future challenges of food shortage. He said the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award would be updated and the federal government would pay a due share of KP including all arrears.
The chief minister said as many as 700,000 farmers would be provided subsided and free of cost seeds and other incentives. He said KP City Infrastructure Development project with the support of Asian Development Bank would be launched to address sanitation and sewerage issues across the province.
