Apple plans to start its foldable phone by 2022. The company works with LG and Samsung to produce a thinner flexible display than its competitors and develops panels for the unit.
According to information, Samsung will be the key provider for folding panels and Samsung’s LTPO- the first folding iPhone will use based OLED panels. LG is going to be the second provider in the meantime. Cupertino hopes that its cooperation with LG would improve output and volume capability and cost reduction.

Apple is already designing foldable iPhone prototypes. According to leaks, the upcoming foldable will have a clamshell design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z flip and will support Apple Pencil.
In addition, analysts have speculated that the smartphone is cheaper than competitor versions. We do doubt. However, that would be the case, given the rising iPhone prices.
