Metrobus employees strike again in Rawalpindi Islamabad.
Employees say the metro administration has not kept its promises made as a result of previous protests. Employees closed ticketing booths at all stations, causing severe inconvenience to passengers.
However, Metrobus ticketing workers went on strike last month for two days over non-receipt of salaries and Corona funds. After which the Metrobus management assured them of paying all dues, and the employees called off the protest and resumed Metrobus service.
Employees are now on strike again, saying that the metro bus management has not fulfilled any of its promises. On the other hand Metrobus management not paid salaries and other dues to the employees for four months. on which the protest has resumed, the ticketing booth has been closed in the first phase. In the next phase, Metrobus service will be completely shut down.
