A case has been registered against Allama Saad Rizvi, head of the religious party Tehreek-e-Lubaik Pakistan (TLP), under terrorism and murder provisions.
Police say a case has also been registered against Saad Rizvi and other leaders of his party in Shahdara Town.
Police said Saad Rizvi, Ijaz Rasool, and Muhammad Qasim were among others named in the case.
Police say the case has been registered under other provisions, including murder and attempted murder.
