The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued an advertisement to recover claims of affected people from PTI leader and provincial food minister Aleem Khan’s Housing Society (Park View).
The NAB issued an advertisement for Aleem Khan’s housing society before filing a reference against him in the accountability court. The advertisement directed the victims to lodge complaints of fraud by the Park View management at NAB Lahore. NAB Lahore Regional Board has approved a reference worth Rs1.4 billion against Aleem Khan. A reference has been prepared against Aleem Khan for assets worth more than Rs 1.4 billion from his proven income.
The investigation against Punjab Food Minister Aleem Khan has found evidence of manipulation in Park View Society through his two alleged frontmen Umar Farooq and Umair. By transferring the plots of 400 to 500 victims to the well-known housing society, The frontman illegally benefited Aleem Khan to the tune of crores of rupees.
According to NAB rules, in case of assets more than income, the accused may not only have to forfeit the illegal property if convicted but may also be fined the same.
