No world leader will be present at the 75th session of the United Nations

The 75th session of the UN General Assembly, which begins on the 15th of this month, will be historical in the sense that no head of state in the world will be present. The US government has made a 14-day quarantine mandatory for everyone coming to New York due to the coronavirus, after which no leader will attend the 75th session of the General Assembly but will address the video link.

The meeting will begin with an inaugural address by Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. After which US President Donald Trump will address. Most likely, President Trump will address the forum instead of the video link.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will address on behalf of Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan will address on September 25 while the Foreign Minister will address on September 21. Pakistan will be represented at the meeting by Permanent Representative Munir Akram.
