The spread of the Covid virus is increasing in Pakistan. On the last day, 42 people have died. According to the details, the number of Covid cases in Pakistan is increasing day by day while the death rate is also increasing. In the past day, 42 people have succumbed to the virus. There is a clear increase in the number in a single day in the last months.

On July 17, 49 people died in a single day. The epidemic has claimed the lives of 7603 people across the country. According to the data released by the National Command and Center, 42,752 tests of Covid were conducted across the country yesterday. Out of which 16275 tests were conducted in Punjab, 12975 in Sindh. while, the other part has less victims 4615 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 7052 in Islamabad, 664 in Balochistan, 302 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 896 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In 24 hours, 2,843 new cases were reported and 42 people have died. Thus, the covid positive rate in day tests was 6.6 percent. On the other hand, the Civil Aviation Authority issued new Covid SOPs for international flights and passengers. Passengers coming to Pakistan from some other countries including Turkey have been directed to bring PCR Covid test reports with them. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter the country.

It has been informed that passengers coming to Pakistan from Category C countries will have to undergo two tests of Covid. Passengers from Category B countries will have to undergo the test 96 hours before coming to Pakistan. Special individuals and special delegations will be exempt from the covid test. Under further SOPs issued, the plane coming to Pakistan will have to be sprayed with disinfectant. One seat will have to be left on the plane as a precautionary measure, the flight crew and passengers will have to wear masks. Approves charter flights for international passengers to travel by private jet.
