Skardu is now the highest point in the world where baseball is held. This has been confirmed by the World Baseball Softball Confederation, the governing body of baseball. The Pakistan Baseball Federation has announced baseball activities in Skardu and Gilgit later this month.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation, in a recent release, called Skardu’s baseball field the highest in the world and acknowledged that after hosting the Skardu baseball match, it surpassed Denver Colorado, America’s highest baseball field.
Skardu Baseball Field is located at 7,310 feet, while Denver Colorado Baseball Field is located at 5,130 feet. An exhibition baseball match between Pakistan Whites and Pakistan Greens will also be played in Gilgit on November 3 next month.
