Peshawar BRT Bus Catches On Fire AgainAnother bus of the BRT project inaugurated last month in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s capital Peshawar was burnt. It is the second event of fireworks within a week. According to rescue 1122, during the journey in HayatAbad phase 6, a fire broke out on the bus, which was evacuated immediately. After some time, the rescue staff reached the spot and overcame the fire. According to the rescue spokesman, there was no loss of life due to the fire on the bus, and the reasons for the fire still not revealed. There is no explanation yet from the khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the BRT administration.

On August 26, a fire broke out on the roof of a traveling bus near BRT Station No. 28 in Hayatabad. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesman Kamran Bangash had said at the time that an inquiry committee had been formed to investigate the fire. Still, the committee’s report had not yet come to light.
