The Counter-Terrorism Department has foiled a plot to attack the Islamabad Stock Exchange by arresting three terrorists. The Counter-Terrorism Department of Punjab Police has arrested three terrorists in Rawalpindi based on intelligence information.

The CTD said that the terrorists were arrested from Adiala Road on a tip-off, and explosives and weapons were also recovered from their possession. The terrorists belonged to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and received funding and guidance from Afghanistan.
