Prime Minister Imran Khan during a telephonic conversation with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed bilateral relations of Pakistan and Uzbekistan, expressed satisfaction over peace and momentum.
The Pakistani prime minister emphasized the importance of realizing the country’s full potential in a number of areas in order to achieve shared goals and objectives.
PM Imran further emphasized the need of strengthening bilateral economic ties by finalizing a Preferential Trade Agreement between the two nations as soon as possible.
PM Imran highlighted the expectation that peace and security in Afghanistan will aid in the advancement of the connectivity agenda and regional development.
He reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to the timely completion of the Trans-Afghan railway project.
The Uzbek president accepted PM Imran’s invitation to visit Pakistan, which will aid in further boosting existing bilateral cooperation in various fields, including economic and trade relations, between the two countries.
