The court reporters brought the matter to the notice of Chief Justice Athar Minallah of the Islamabad High Court. They said that police officials said that the reporter was taken into custody on the judges’ instructions.

At the court’s request, the SP maintained that the reporter had parked the vehicle on the road and refused to remove it, which blocked the way for the judges’ vehicles. The reporter’s car had caused problems for people.
According to the SP, the police arrested the man as he did not reveal his identity and removed the vehicle. According to the SP, no weapons were recovered from the reporter. The detained reporter is being released. On the other hand, the affected reporter Ehtesham Kayani said that he was tortured on the orders of SP Zubair Sheikh.
